SoCalGas is the nation's largest natural gas distribution utility, delivering clean, safe, and reliable energy to 21.1 million consumers through 5.9 million meters in more than 500 communities. Our service territory encompasses approximately 24,000 square miles in diverse terrain throughout Central and Southern California, from Visalia to the Mexican border. Our essential workforce includes approximately 2,000 vendors, contractors, and suppliers with whom we work. We spend over $2B annually on supply chain needs in the areas of transmission and distribution services and equipment, engineering and technical services, IT, construction and maintenance, facilities, and oilfield services.
